Kids Adventure Training
Outline
Hells Fells 2024 starts with a week of adventure training for the children of our serving and former armed forces and emergency service personnel with the aim of providing a short break for the parents and a week of action packed activity for the children in the middle of summer holidays.
Arrival & Dispersal
All participants are requested to arrive by 1400hrs on Monday 5th Aug 24. Dispersal will be 1800hrs on Thursday 10th Aug 23 although families and children are welcome to stay and enjoy the weekend festival.
Camping
All adventure trainers will camp at the farm in the Yorkshire Dales. Where possible, we are encouraging parents to camp with their children. Where this is not possible the children will camp in a group tent, supervised by the training team.
Juniors & Disabled
Children up to the age of 11 will have their own program for the week, this will include farm visits to feed the animals, a nature trail, den building, swimming and cooking.
This program will also be modified for disabled children to promote maximum participation.
Adventure Training
11-16 year olds will be encouraged to take part in all activities where possible. Activities include:

Administration
A kit list will be issued when you book here. If you don't have an item, please let us know and we will provide it.
Whilst we look to cater for everyone, we are limited for numbers. Priority will go to the most disadvantaged with remaining places filled in the order of booking.
If transport is an issue, please let us know and we will assist.
Our prices this year:
AT Camping: £25 per night (Mon - Thurs)
Adventure Training : £15 per participating child, per day (Mon - Thurs)
