A huge welcome and thank you for supporting Hells Fells 2019. Based in the magnificent Yorkshire Dales National Park, the weekend is a festival to celebrate the very best of our Armed Forces, whilst at the same time, raising money to support veterans who have had difficulty adjusting to civilian life.
The campsite opens at 1200hrs on Friday 28th June 19.
Children's entertainment starts at 1500hrs with a climbing wall, bouncy castle and children's disco starting at 1700hrs.
Bars open at 1600hrs with the Robinsons Brewery Happy Hour(s) at 1600hrs, leading into a gin cocktail show by The Tipsy Filly at 1800hrs.
Live Music starts at 1930hrs with a full play list of local musicians and artists.
A wide selection of hot food is available; Pizza's, Burgers, Jacket Potatoes and much more.
Hot breakfast is available on site from 0730hrs.
Armed Forces Day opens at 0900hrs with displays of military equipment, birds of prey, children's assault course, face painting and much more......
The draw for the Tractor Pull takes place at 0930hrs.
The tractor pull starts at 1000hrs, each team of 24 pulling 800 metres x 3, with the fastest cumulative time winning the Rawthey Cup.
Hells Fells Got Talent starts on the main stage at 1130hrs.
The Army v Lancs County trial bike competition starts at 1400hrs.
Bars open at 1100hrs with the Robinsons Brewery Happy Hour(s) at 1600hrs, leading into the Saturday night gin cocktail show by The Tipsy Filly at 1700hrs.
Live Music starts at 1800hrs, warming up to the headline act of Ska Face at 2100hrs.
A wide selection of hot food is available, Lebanese, Pizza's, Burgers, Jacket Potatoes and much more.
For those wishing for a steady start, a car boot sale will be in the main arena from 0730hrs, where breakfast will also be available.
Sunday starts at 0930hrs with a 4.2 mile Fell Race onto Holme Fell, organised by the Howgill Harriers.
Bars open on Sunday from 1100hrs to 1700hrs with Live Music from local bands and artists.
Transport to/from Sedbergh
Transport will be available from 1000hrs until gates close every day, collecting from outside The Dalesman. Return transport will be every even hour at half past the hour, dropping off at The Dalesman.
Transport to/from Kirkby Lonsdale
Transport will be available from 1100hrs until gates close every day, collecting from outside The Royal Barn. Return transport will be every odd hour at half past the hour, dropping off at The Royal Barn.
